camping, rain, and pizza the size of the moon (well...almost)

So this past weekend we went camping with my high school bestie Rachel and her hilarious husband Luke (Rachel is so talented and started her own home pillow company here.)

We camped up Logan canyon and it was so much fun.  They taught us how to play Canasta (our now new favorite game), we made smores (first one of the summer!), told funny stories, ate delicious quesadillas, and went on a hike.  It was so relaxing and fun to just hang out and laugh.  It was amazing not to have a time restraint on our adventure, we had no idea what time we went to bed, we didn't know what time we woke up, and we just weren't stressed about time (it.was.awesome.)  We talked and laughed and had a great ole' time hiking in the rain.

After our camping adventure we met up with DJ's buddies and their wives at Firehouse pizza and we all agreed it was the best deal to buy the biggest pizza they had and share the price so that's what we did.

We almost ate all of it :)  It was so hilarious when they brought it out to our table because the entire restaurant of people were staring at us and then a couple of random guests came up and asked us if they could take a picture.  We ended the night by playing SkipBo and laughing.

We're sad the weekend is over.
