Finals are over and I have recovered from my fretting illness.
It is now Christmas break and I must tell you that I love being the only one in my apartment. All of my roommates have left for home and I am left alone. I can cook whatever I want, I can clean whenever I want, and I can blast George Michael's Last Christmas without anyone getting annoyed.
I am still at my apartment because I have to work at Joann's during the holiday season. As much as that could upset me, I have chosen to find things during the day that would make up for the fact that I am not at home eating holiday treats. For example....yesterday I was cutting fabric for this lady and her daughter and the lady started complaining to me about this rude inconsiderate employee that had helped her the night before (pretty sure it was my manager she was talking about) and her daughter got all embarrassed and apologized for her. The mum kept on going and going and criticizing and criticizing like the energizer bunny; some people have no manners. I don't know what she wanted me to say; she just laughed and thanked me for being nice. Or today this lady was buying a bag of stuffing (like to stuff stuffed animals and pillows) and her little son was using it as a punching bag. The mum kept on trying to put it on the counter but the boy kept on punching it so that I would fly off and hit her in the face.
Tonight I made wild rice soup...it was yummy
I wish I had a voice like Zooey Deschanel <3 style="font-style: italic;">It's a Wonderful Life. If only Jimmy Stewart had been walking next to me.
Merry Christmas!
