So yesterday I woke up to a bird. When people say they woke up to birds chirping you think of cute little spring time birds hopping around all cheerful; the one I woke up to was not. It must have been a crow or raven or something because it was like this deep forlorn skwak; it was unpleasant and kind of scary. Don't fret for me, that deep skwak made me laugh so hard I had to have a good day :)
I was also walking to class the other day and whilst walking I glanced at my shadow and realized that my backpack had completely unzipped open; my books and study materials exposed for all to see; I felt violated. No one said anything to me. If I had seen myself I would have at least said "hey your backpack is open." Apparentaly common cortesy is no longer in existence in today's society.
Spring is coming and I can feel it. Yesterday I didn't wear my jacket and the sun was shining...the sun was shining! You don't realize how miraculous that is...the sun rarely shines in Logan.
I love the sun!

Camille! I love this and I love that the crow/raven experience ended up making the day super! I also just wanted to mention that today a girl informed me of my backpack being unzipped and zipped it shut for me so it does exist . . . and due to her I will tell others when their backpacks are open! :) Have a good day!
I can understand the feeling of having a bird right outside your window wake you up (when I lived in the dorms there was a nest with baby birds in the roof by my window I slept by) I am glad you took it so optimistically! It makes me think of that zipidee do dah song
..mr blue birds on my shoulder.. anyway hope you are well and good luck with the spring thing!!!
I think I had birds squawk outside my window frequently on the 4th floor of Rich Hall. Thanks for the recollection of great memories!
For the record I'd have totally gave you a heads up on your backpack incident.... I know the violated feeling AND I feel like i have atleast SOME courtesy... :)
